About Me

My name is Richard Womeldorf from McAllen, Tx. As I am sitting here writing, I am hard pressed to explain “Who is Richard Womeldorf” in just a few short words. It will take volumes and months to explain.

I wear a different hat several times a day! I am a stay-at-home dad, a husband, a small business owner, a Network Marketer, a friend, a son, a brother, a geek…. the list is endless. But what will likely interest you the most is that I am an avid student of Internet and Social Marketing.

And I am thankful every day that I am able to work from home, and that I am able to contribute to our family income. I am living in the best of both worlds! It wasn’t that way before. Let me explain.

I might have started off like some of you by finishing high School, then going to work for my father, in his retail store. I worked in sales for 25 years before I realized…my two daughters were “grown up” and going away to college. “What the heck happened?” It was at that time that I realized, I was “wasting away” in a store, that I owned now, and my future was just more work. How is that a blessing?  Well, it was.  It gave me conviction down to my bones, that tolling away for wages, was NOT the way to riches.

My girls had grown up, and I HAD MISSED IT ALL!  My wife and I talked about this and we made a commitment. I closed down the family business. YIKES. Yep, and I have NEVER looked back since. Best thing that I have ever done. 

Only there was one problem… I still needed an income. I decided to go into Real Estate business, since my wife was a Realtor for 9 years at that time. i did very well for some 5-7 years. It was a little hectic, but I made time for myself and my family. Worked hard and played hard.

Unfortunately, back in 2004, I started to see this financial fiasco that have crippled our country. Yes, it was VERY easy to see that Mortgage Companies could not be doing the right thing. come on. they were lending money to ANYONE..good or bad credit. I started looking around for my “safety net” business. One that would earn me residual income. This is so I don’t have to work so hard. After all, I am pushing 57 now.

And that’s when I found network marketing. It made sense – I could work at home and be involved with a business that had the potential for unlimited income!

I dove into my network marketing business using the old-school techniques that we, network marketers, are so well known for. Hotel meetings, home parties, e-mails/phone calls to friends and family….all of the techniques that my upline taught me to use.

But after spending a few months spinning my wheels, I knew this was not the way I wanted to build my business. I knew there had to be a better way.

Since I owned an online business, the Internet felt like home. I did a search for “network marketing success”… and from that day forward, I entirely changed the way I looked at and worked my business. That was the day I found Social Marketing, Internet Marketing and thankfully, that was when I found the people who taught me the core marketing skills I was lacking.

Thanks to some incredible mentors, I have come a long way. I discovered it doesn’t always work being the “lone ranger”. Instead I have connected with a community of coaches and mentors in the industry.

They have shown me how to set up my business the correct way. They have also taught me to leverage social marketing to build my business. My business has thrived with the help of my network marketing coach.

And now I am happy in my business, happy with my community of friends and mentors and happy to finally be on the right path to success!

This blog or my personal website, is a path or a diary of my journey in Network Marketing. Read along and I will teach you. After years of experimenting, I have zeroed in on my “systems” for finding massive amounts of leads for my business.
