1. Do your own thing – A rockstar will always carve out their own path. That doesn’t mean that you can’t follow the advice of smart people but you should always put your own little twist on it. Use your own personality to make yourself unique and special.

2. Be bold – Don’t be afraid to talk to anyone about your business whether it be someone over the phone or the lady standing behind you in the supermarket. Be big, bold and confident at all times.

3. Work hard – This is pretty basic but you would be shocked at how many people overlook it. If you want to get to a place where you will be praised by your peers you have to work hard. So work longer than anyone else works and take more chances than anyone else takes. That’s how you become successful in just about anything.

4. Share your information – If you have a great idea don’t be afraid to share it with everyone. You’ll have a tendency to keep things to yourself but if you’re known as the person who helps other people you’ll be even more respected. Share good information with everyone and help others as much as you can.

5. Be confident – Confidence is important in all aspects of your life but especially business. People can tell when you’re confident and it will make people want to do business with you. Confidence is something that doesn’t come easily to everyone but work on it and it will come. People are always drawn to confident people.

When thinking about joining a home based business one of the main questions is how long will it take me to have success? And the answer is I don’t know exactly. How long it will take you could depend on a lot of things. I do know this however, you can get very rich working from home if you work hard and don’t give up when things get difficult.

For most people it takes a couple of years to attain their idea level of success. Of course for some people it happens a whole lot faster and for some it takes a little longer. A good rule to follow is that the harder you work right now the faster you will succeed.

So the more people you talk to about your business now the sooner you’ll reach all of your goals. For that reason much of your success is determined in the first year of the business. Are you going to kick your home based business off with a bang or are you going to let it flounder for several months? It’s all up to you.

If you’ve been in your business for a couple of years now and you still haven’t had a lot of success that’s ok. You can still make this year your best ever by treating it like it’s your first year in the business. Throw out what you’re doing if it’s not working and start fresh with something new. Just remember, to do a lot now so that you can relax later.

I wish I were able to tell you exactly to the day how long it will take you to get rich working from home but unfortunately I can’t. What I can tell you is that if you are consistent and you keep going you will eventually make however much you want working from home so don’t give up no matter what.
