A lot of people who work from home part time have the dream of one day being able to quit their full time jobs and make their home based business they’re full time career. If you are one of those people let me tell you that that is entirely possible. Many people start off part time and soon are able to leave their regular jobs and become full time home business owners.

Of course there are some things that you need to think about before you quit your job.

For one thing you want to build up your at home income before you quit your job. If you decide to quit your job before your business has reached a certain level you run the risk of getting stressed out and quitting your business all together. Before you even think of quitting your job you should be making at least the same amount from home that you’re making at your job. That way you can leave your job and your lifestyle can stay the same.

Also, you will want to think about things like insurance. A lot of people get their insurance through their job so quitting means that you’re going to have to find benefits on your own. That is a doable thing but something that you must consider before you are able to quit your job and work at home full time.

You might also want to have some money in savings. That way if your commissions go down one month for some reason you’ll have something to fall back on.

Once you have decided that it’s time to leave your job you should think about where you are going to work. Do you have a good home office or do you nee to make some upgrades to make it a better place to work? Also, are you going to be able to make yourself work if you don’t have a boss hovering over you? For a lot of people it’s a good idea to write out a schedule of everything you’re going to do for your business during the week that way you will make sure you’re working enough now that your business is your full time source of income.

Working full time from home can be an amazing thing. And for the people who do it there is nothing like it! Just make sure that you do it at the right time in your life and you’ll love the freedom it brings and the money you can make!
