So work longer than anyone else works and take more chances than anyone else takes. That’s how you become successful in just about anything.

4. Share your information – If you have a great idea don’t be afraid to share it with everyone. You’ll have a tendency to keep things to yourself but if you’re known as the person who helps other people you’ll be even more respected. Share good information with everyone and help others as much as you can.

5. Be confident – Confidence is important in all aspects of your life but especially business. People can tell when you’re confident and it will make people want to do business with you. Confidence is something that doesn’t come easily to everyone but work on it and it will come. People are always drawn to confident people.

Traditional jobs totally suck! If you have one I’m sure you already know this. The deadlines, the office politics, the boss, the horrible hours, the commute… everything! That’s why so many people today are all about joining a home based business and living a better life and a life that’s on their terms. However, in case you need convincing here are my top three reasons why traditional jobs totally suck!

1. The hours – Giving away 40 hours out of your week just plain stinks. When you work from home you can choose to work the hours you want to work rather than giving it all away to a boss and a job. If you want to work at night when your kids are in bed you can do that. And if Thursdays are a busy day for you you can take the day off. Once you know what it’s like to set your own hours you’d never want to have a regular job ever again.

2. The stress – Jobs are just plain stressful! With your supervisors hovering over you and rude customers by the time you get home from work you’re probably so stressed out you don’t want to do anything. Working from home gets rid of a ton of that stress. You set your own deadlines and you decide if a job is done to your satisfaction. And when you’re done working you will be in a much better mood to your family because you didn’t spend the whole day getting yelled at by a boss.

3. The money – Let’s face it, almost nobody is getting paid what they’re worth today! Especially in this economy. When you work from home you can give yourself a raise anytime you like! You can make as much money as you want (we’re talking limitless here folks!) and you’re not working hard all the time to make the boss rich. You work hard and you get paid for it!

When thinking about joining a home based business one of the main questions is how long will it take me to have success? And the answer is I don’t know exactly. How long it will take you could depend on a lot of things. I do know this however, you can get very rich working from home if you work hard and don’t give up when things get difficult.

For most people it takes a couple of years to attain their idea level of success. Of course for some people it happens a whole lot faster and for some it takes a little longer. A good rule to follow is that the harder you work right now the faster you will succeed.

So the more people you talk to about your business now the sooner you’ll reach all of your goals. For that reason much of your success is determined in the first year of the business. Are you going to kick your home based business off with a bang or are you going to let it flounder for several months? It’s all up to you.

If you’ve been in your business for a couple of years now and you still haven’t had a lot of success that’s ok. You can still make this year your best ever by treating it like it’s your first year in the business. Throw out what you’re doing if it’s not working and start fresh with something new. Just remember, to do a lot now so that you can relax later.

I wish I were able to tell you exactly to the day how long it will take you to get rich working from home but unfortunately I can’t. What I can tell you is that if you are consistent and you keep going you will eventually make however much you want working from home so don’t give up no matter what.
